this morning the internet went down in our building
i sceptically connected my n95 via usb cable
two clicks later on pc suite (Internet connect - need to go to setting first time)
and WOW - nice fast access
which ment i could get some work done
totally wonderful and easy. jsut select tmobile uk and hit connect
it took me two goes as first time it was defaulting to some other service provider.
rocking
hope its as easy on a mac so my iBook can be set free
(im on web&walk plus so modem access is permitted)
Setting it up on a iBook is not as easy as there's no PC Suite. However it is possible (if you can't find instructions for the N95 then try ones for another S60 phone).
and I agree the easue of use of modem is so much easier than it use to be.
This will prove bloody useful for my carpc. I can just whack the cable in the phone and get internet as i drive (obviously not literally AS I drive)
yep and presumably you can do it via blue tooth as well

Did Vista automatically find your phone and install the cable drivers when you connected it? I'm having trouble getting Vista to find my phone in PS suite.
Is that way with PCSuite and all Nokia phones. Better, if the phone and the service support 3,5G.
Windows messenger times me out every 6-8mins. The modem connection is still live and active. Has anybody had any issues with using messenger through the N95 modem connection? Messenger never did this on a high-speed cable connection in the past.
Do you think it's an issue with messenger or an issue with the n95 modem (connection speed)?
