Copying text messages from 6630 to n95

can't find an option to copy all my sms's to the sim. Any pointers?

I've never seen a sim card that can store messages so that probably isnt going to help...

You could try the 'transfer' program on the N95 - That will pull information off the 6630 over bluetooth. Just run the program on the N95 and the wizard will tell you what to do... I'm not 100% sure if this does SMS but it's definitely worth a try...

If that doesn't work, is there an option in PC suite anywhere to copy/move SMS? I'd test it this end but I'm at work at the moment 😞

tried the transfer wizard but it doesn't do sms. will try pc suite soon...

i realised even if it was possible to copy on to the sim card, it doesn't help cos the n95 takers the new micro sd cards...ffs

I did try this - i plugged in the old 6630 to pc suite, and you can browse to the message inbox and copy all the messages. So i did this and held them in a folder on my pc.

then i unplugged the 6630 and connected the n95 to pc suite, and browsed to its sms inbox and tried to copy the old 6630 messages into it. But for some reason, pc suite allows you to copy message OUT of the inbox, but not put stuff back IN

I had same problem trying to do this from the 6680 to the N73, basically you cant do it.

Its only text messages though, i soon got over it.
