Hi

Could any one please tell me how to security wipe SMS Text messages and Phone Call incoming / outgoing data from the SIM Card and Phone Memory so that it cannot be retrieved.

Thank you

First of all, what phone do you have? And second: you want to delete call log and messages, or to put them under password?

Hi

Thank you for responding. Phone Model is Nokia N70 and want to wipe clean all SMS Texts / Calls sent and received from the SIM and Phone. Does it store any items in a hidden folder / location ?

Thank you

You can erase all your messages from one shot by entering Messages -> Inbox -> Options -> Mark/Unmark -> Mark all and then press "c" or go to Options -> Delete. This will delete all the messages stored in phone/MMC. For SIM messages, go to Messages -> Options -> SIM messages -> Options -> Mark/Unmark -> Mark all and again, press "c" or Options -> Delete.

Call log can be easily cleared by going to Log application from the main menu. Open the app, go to right tab, and then select Options -> Clear log. That's it.

If you would like to erase everything from phone memory, just format it: *#7370# and this will bring the phone in the out-of-the-box shape.
