My System Failure always occured in my P800 whenever it has no network for about 5-10mins (e.g. parking basement). Are there anybody experienced the same problem? Is it a software bug?
My software version is:
Phone: R1B
BlueTooth: R2C
Organiser: R1C02
CDA: R1B02

Yes it appened to me two times, and I didn't knew why.
And now, when I thnik of it, It was when I had no network, for a little while... I therefore think it is a software bug.
SonyEricsson already realesed a new firmware for the UK English and Italian based P800. It might be able to correct this... Well let's hope it does !
Great! Is it downloadable? Can it be installed via cradle like common software?
I've checked SE service center in my area (Indonesia, Jakarta), they confirmed yes, there are new firmware that fixed this bug. Maybe they did "Release To Production" test only in a well covered network area 😉
Anyway, they suggested me not to take this upgrade yet, and wait for the version 2 that will be release in the short term....still thinking... :roll:
