Basically my N73's predicitive text dictionary choses strange words as the first ones, for example, if i press 4 then 3, to type "if" it instead types "gf" and i have to cycle to get to "he". Is there any way to chance it so it does the most likely work first again? Thanks.
N73 T9 dictionary has gone weird....
If you add a word to the dictionary (by choosing the "spell" option), it treats that word as a higher priority - thus it is the first choice when spelling with T9.
The only way I know of to get your preferred choice back to the front is to cycle through all the options until "Spell" is shown again, and then spell the word that you'd prefer to come first. It'll add the word to the custom dictionary (even though it already exists in the default one), and it'll become the first choice again. Do this a few times and you can customise the cycling order of all words for that particular key sequence.
I don't think it works with words with two letters.
I have the same problem with at and bt (typing BT for a message!!).
Oh well I might have a wander into a phone shop to see if they can sort it !!
It definitely does work for 2 letter words on my phone. I was getting Ml instead of OK until I did this.
Have you tried it with AT and BT ?
Please let me know if it works and what version of the phone software you have.
It may be that my phone needs an update?
Arrgh! For some reason, that combination doesn't work! I've now got Bt before At and it won't revert.
Thanks for that! LOL
Hey guys, give this a try.
Type the word you want but don't scroll to it. Stay on the incorrect word. Press the pencil key. Go into the predictive text menu. Press "Edit Word". Enter the word you would like to come up first and press ok.
Problem should now be resolved.

Thanks, but unfortunately it does not work for every words kombinations.
I wish there was a way to delete words also.
