about the intl. warranty, according to the manual, u get service wherever theres a sonyericsson office / service center etc.
BUT it also says " charges may apply ".
u can check their website for more info. sorry cant be 100% certain. im trying to contact my sony ericsson contact person, but cant get in touch with him.

its already available in india in the grey market for 820 with international warranty.

Do you have a receipt with the date of sale? 1 year is from the day of selling, so you need to show that...

Yes, you'll get a current dated receipt for the phone.
Time for a bit more detail. Basically im in direct contact with sony ericsson, so can get them at better prices. Thats why the prices are negiotable.
Naturally, i want to make a small profit, so the bill amount would be a bit less than the actual amount.
Plus the shipping (dont worry - cant make profit on that. lol).

Custom pictures - if you mean of the (unopened) box, thats fine. Especially the imei and serial numbers from the stickers on the box.

About ebay etc; nah, never used that.

COD - same issue of trust i guess. Plus, i need the money first to purchase it, right?
I'm not sure, but maybe theres some way to do it through our respective banks; where the money is credited, but not released until auth. is give to UR bank. No wait, that wouldnt work, coz it becomes COD basically.

i took a few pics, but the quality aint great. maybe coz i didnt use the p800 cam. 😃
anywayz, im just attaching two, as the file sizes are about 1.5mb. if anyone wants the others emailed, and has a lot of inbox email storage, lemme know.
just two boxes are shown coz the imei numbers came quite clear, and another is of the phone itself, so you can see the network operator etc.

It is legally binding for me to deliver the goods once ive put it up there.

i've put up offers on uaemall b4 (u can still see some - name is shah, under the mobiles section). Un4tunately, there are no reviews or feedback from buyers etc saying that they've really received the goods etc.
I checked out ebay - registered etc, but just figuring out the selling/auction charges etc.

its all about guranteed payment etc, BUT the problem is that if i want MY money asap, i have to pay USD 40 for an intl. money transfer, or else they'd mail a cheque via regular mail which may get lost.
the prob. is if i pay the 40 USD, then i get in to a loss.
if anyone wants to do it this way, and is willing to pay that 40 USD, pls. let me know.
I'm sure something can be worked out.
I've already received payment for one phone, and sent it to a guy in ameria. he should receive it in one or two more days.

Escrow doesn't accept credit card payments for items like mobiles, electronic goods etc; only money orders or cheques, which just makes it more expensive or delayed.
Still have some phones if anybody wants.
by the way, did i mention i can also get other phones, electronics etc? 😉
