Is there a utility to help me change timings?

One of the really irritating features of Symbian/UIQ is that I can't change the time it takes for the light to turn off or the phone lock to activate. (Somone may correct me on this, but I can't see an option to change these things anywhere).

I like to use a phone lock, as the phone contains a lot of data, but I would like it to cut in after, say, 5 minutes, rather than 30 seconds.

How can I achive this? Is there some utility somewhere that allows me to hack the registry (or Symbian equivalent)? What would be really good is if I could also change it so that, if the device is on the cradle, it wouldn't lock at all, but would remain on, with the light on as well. How could I achieve that?

thanks

Just found the answer to my own quesion - a little utility called Advanced Device Locks, which seems to work very well, and lets me work as I would like.

Next point - is there a utility that keeps the backlight on for longer than just a few seconds? I don't want to waste the battery by having the thing on permanently, but I would like it to last longer.
