N95 and Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970

I'm experiencing a minor irritation when I play music via Bluetooth between my N95 and HBH-DS970.

Basically, once every 2-4 minutes (on average, but sometimes more often, occasionally less often) there's an interruption to the music for only a fraction of a second but enough for the music to stop then resume. The phone isn't pausing and continuing because the resumed music has carried on.

I've tried in "offline" mode in case the theory of the phone trying to connect to a network and thus reducing available resources is the reason but no, still does it then.

The HBH-DS970 works without a problem with my K610i so I thought perhaps there was a compatibility issue here. But I've read of some people using this headset with their N95's without any issue.

Any ideas?

same issue here - shame as the sound quality is really very good

I agree the sound quality is one of the best I've experienced from any form of mobile device headphones I've sampled over the years. Plus, as I have a large collection of fairly bass-orientated dance music, I was quite impressed with the bass response of these particular headphones.

I know they are not made by Nokia but I don't see what Sony Ericsson headphones can't work perfectly with a Nokia phone given that it's the Bluetooth A2DP profile which allows them to function together which is an industry agreed thing, not specific to either manufacturer.

I wonder if its worth pointing out the problem to either Nokia or Sony Ericsson?
