about nokia n73 music edition... — Nokia N71, Nokia N73 and Nokia N75

hi, i'm new here. i juz bought a nokia n73 music edition n i wan to know y my hp cant read chinese. the mp3 name all showed weird name tat can found in character map. There are also no chinese phone language. is nokia n73 music edition reli like tis or i hav to modify it? thx alot. :con?

I don�t know if I understand the question...
The phone must have several languages, and that languages depends of region of selling the unit. Is that what you ask:con?

Yep it depends on region. Phones over here normally done come with asian languages installed while instead you will find the most common european languages.

i am chinese from malaysia. so, it should hav install chinese language inside rite? Bt y in my hp oni hav english n malaysian? This hp cant read chinese , so my chinese sms become weird word. lolz Is it i hav to install myself? if so, can u tell me hw?

Update your firmware with a Chinese Music Edittion

The Product Code is 0539343.. Use NSS and NSU.. Just browse all the threads in this forum on how to change the Product Code for your N73..

i tried using NSU to update. The NSU detect my n73 ME n it just say your version is the latest n it just close the NSU. How to do it? pls help me.

Yeah, can't tell you anything new but agree with the other guys here... you only usually get the languages used most commonly within the region where you bought it. I don't like suggesting it but maybe you could flash it with a different version of the software or take it in somewhere to do it for you?
