Is that the message displayed on the phone mate?
Try taking out the battery, MiniSD and SIM. Make sure the SIM's contacts are clean and then put it back in (You can miss this step but would be a good idea) then without the MiniSD in, put the battery in and restart the phone.
What happens once you have done this mate?
take the battery out for 2 minutes, insert again and it should power up normally
