The time came to show off the built in GPS on my phone when me and my girlfriend had to try and find someones house. I said "leave it to me, give me his postcode and the phone will do the rest"..which it did, only it took us round the one way system..as that is the way you'd go if you were driving.
We ended up getting a taxi as the missus was in a strop - oh the shame...
We were on foot - is there a setting that gives you an alternative route for walking?
I suspect there is, I've just overlooked it....

check it out .. Settings / Routing / Transport Mode .. select "on foot" 😃
Make sure the mrs has comfortable shoes!
