Hi. I had my Nokia 3230 for nearly 1 1/2 years. I never downloaded anything from the internet or left the Bluetooth on all the time, or anything that might possibly lead to virus infecting my phone.
The problem is, sometimes when I'm using certain application i.e. games, the screen goes blank and it's white. The game is still running, since that I can still hear the sound. Even when I press the buttons I can hear the 'click' sound. Since that I know which button quits the game, I quit the game and I restart the phone and it works fine all over again.
I thought this was somewhat common, maybe the phone cannot cope, etc. Besides it doesn't happen that frequent so it isn't that bad.
But these few days, it just got worse. When I'm not using the phone, it still goes blank. I restart my phone and everything is fine. But then I end up doing it like 5 times a day and it's starting to get annoying.
I have tried restoring the original setting and the problem still persists. What exactly is the problem? Virus? Or does it happen all the time?
It really bugs me when most things goes out of order right after the warranty is due. 😞
Hope someone can help me out with this. 😃
Unfortunately, the 3230 restarts very often. Have you tried to see how many processes are running in background?
I never use more than one application at one time. Very minimal use of the phone actually. Sometimes even when I'm writing a sms, it restarts.
So this is common? Is it a build-in defect? :frown:
The connection between battery and battery contacts is on good condition? Is clean, without dust?
Yup, all clean. I never even dropped the phone before. Alright, maybe once.

Mine restarted often by pressing menu button and I only had five 3rd party applications. This was the issue which got me out of my minds, one of my work mates had a 6600 and his was much more stable. I wanted to smash the phone on the floor a couple of times. In the last weeks of use it restarted by itself at least 10-12 times per day. This, combined with mp3's mono sound, low signal, dust under screen and other shits like tis convinced me to get rid of it. And that's how I ended now with the N70.
P.S. I bought both phones on second hand, but the N70 worths every penny.
I feel like smashing it into a million pieces too. I won the phone through a contest in a local magazine here. That's why I'm not complaining as much.
So if I do take the phone to Nokia service center, will it be permanently fixed? Or should I just toss it and get another one?

Sell it before you'll get it into wall and buy yourself something else.
Alrighty then. Thanks a lot! 😊
