Hello!=)
I was wondering if anyone could help me.
My phone is bought in england.
it has english menus, but the norwegian letters is available for use.
the question is, since t9 isnt in norwegian, is there any way to get a norwegian t9?
and if its possible, can i make the menus appear in norwegian?
And could anyone please give me a good link on how to upgrade to IE?
I really hope someone can hep me with that=)
i beivle u just need a norwegian product code and nss to change the code then upgrade to the norwegian firmware
Thats what you need. A firmware upgrade to Norwegian!
Okay!
can anyone give me a quick guide on how to both upgrade to norwegian firmware and IE?
i know i ask for a lot, but im not so good at this=)
lol have alook at the thread branded to generic firmware
basically you'll need 2 things. 1 is NSS (browse the forum) and the second is NSU (Nokia software updater avaialble from Nokia.com)
If you get NSS you will need to change your phone code to a Norwegian one, then hook the phone up to NSU and check for updates.
When it finds the update it should update your phone to the latest Norwegian generic software.
Thank you=)
if i do what it says on this thread: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/54352/&highlight=NSS
But use 0541439 SCANDINAVIA Pearl Black Internet Edition code instead of euro3 as the writer says, i will get norwegian menu and t9?
and after that i just go to nokia and download the latest firmware, and i have internet edition with norwegian menus?=)
not done it but if you use the Scandanvian code with Nss, and then update with NSU it will think you have a scandanvia phone... so will update it to whatever the latest f/w is for that type of N80 😊
