N95 Connecting to Livebox WLAN

Hi all. I have tried many times to connect my phone to my Orange Livebox Router and have still not achieved this relatively simple task! Yes iv done the WLAN Wizard bit on the N95. Iv assigned the WEP key and still when I try to connect im getting the "Unable to connect. WLAN Network not found" message. Its now getting very annoying. Can anybody please help me or let me know how to connect. If you have had this problem and managed to sort it, how did you do this. Thanks in advance.

I have a Livebox and never had a problem so I dont think its a router specific issue. Check your livebox isnt in WPA mode, and make sure the fifth (wifi) light is flashing, if not press the 2 button, so that it does, to put the livebox in pairing mode.

I had problems with my new router, but have managed to fix it.

On the phone goto TOOL > SETTINGS > CONNECTION > ACCESS POINTS > (SELECT UR CONNECTION) ... then hover over WLAN network name, press the options button and goto advanced settings. Click IPV4 SETTINGS and enter details.

Depending on your router it differs, My router dishes out IPs above 192.168.1.100 so i decided to put the phone IP to 192.168.1.40
anyhow heres my settings, it will look similar but may differ in the 192.168.X.X

Phone IP address : 192.168.1.40
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1
DNS USER DEFINED >
Primary DNS address : 192.168.1.1
secondary DNS address : 0.0.0.0

if this doesnt work i could suggest turning the Firewall off on the router may work.

And also, i'm just asking to make sure :P
If ur Router only ALLOWS certain MAC ADDRESSES have you added your N95 mac address to your router?
