the phone comes with a gps thing built in already, under tools then landmarks /position and you can set it so that you use the network based position. but there is nothing there, how do i load maps or places onto it, or do i need to install a device like tomtom :con? ?

also under contacts you just see the name, how do you set it to see the name and number?

is there any way to lock the photos and messages only on the phone without having to lock the whole phone? (atm i have a lock code that locks the whole phone if not used for x amount of time, but everytime i want to listen to music or anything i have to unlock it by putting in the code and this is VERY anoying)

thx

IS not a GPS... If you want a GPS, you need an antenna, more software. Could be like Tomtom or Route66 or Smart2Go from Nokia, free but without voice guidance.
But always with an external antenna.
For the messages, no. Only the global lock.

I solved music problem locking the phone but leave the remote control unlocked. If you do that, you can control cellphone using it and you can make calls holding the call key and using the voice system (the headphones and the built-in mic are an excellent hands-free system) 😃
