Synchronizing categories in contacts on a mac

I am using a mac (10.4.9), and I heard there was native support for the e61. However, when I synchronize, address book categories aren't pushed onto the phone.

Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone have a work around?

Unfortunately, if I am not mistaken, this isn't a mac problem. Windows/etc users have the same problem with not being able to sync their categories. There is further discussion on the matter already within the forum so you're best off having a look through them if you want more detailed information.
