Okay I've had the phone for a while now .. I'm reasonably happy with it. BUT here is my list of stuff Nokia should put in the next one.
#1 Optical Zoom! - not much more to be said. 5MP camera is fine but without an optical zoom its not brilliant.
#2 USB Charging. whenever the device is plugged into a PC/Mac etc it should charge and run off the USB
#3 USB 2 (I'm not sure but it seems that the USB is still only 1.1)
#4 More Memory! ~ At least 32Mb / preferrably something around 100Mb of user RAM available after the OS is up.
#5 Video Input - to enable video recording from external/internal tuner etc.
#6 TV Reception - available widely in Japan where plenty of phones have this capability.
#7 Mini TV/FM transmitter - direct casting to radio or TV tuner
#8 Better Battery life. :icon4:

*Touchscreen(if they keep on making bigger screens they'll eventually need one of these)

*An End to max. volume reduction (although ths is more of a software/firmware issue but still)
*They would definitely want to go abit higher than 5Mp next time..they could put a 4Mp or higher infront for video calls.

*Some other unique key shd be incorporated inbtw the pencil& 'c' key.
*HSPDA may have to go abit higher
*Maybe a new way to slide it..e.g. if ts tilted horizontally you can then slide it up to reveal. . . a QWERTY KEYBOARD!!!!
*Better web browser,they should extract some features from PC web browsers like firefox
* TV In, DVB-H, plus a new USB 2.5Ai (supporting Sigma Connectivity speed(ZC) ,,Bluetooth 2.2b(supporting bluetooth-wifi interaction,increased efficiency ,wider range ,with low power consumption,etc.)
*GPS wXL with NvF Technology(Global Positioning Satelite with Xtreme Limits) .i.e.
Using the satelite as an Internet Access Point..(the NeVer �Fline technology--through Rain or Sun, Winter or Storm you are ALWAYS ONLINE)
*Built-in motion detector like in the Nintendo Wii controller ,not just the boring changing of landscape-portrait system that we have.
Apart frm USB 2.5 version Ai (Ultra-High Diversity speed(UHDS and ZC) (500mb/s) that it'll have, it should support USB 2.5 version Zi (Wireless fast-charging) ...No more connecting to ANYTHING to require wires.
*Inclusion of a separate VRAM (video RAM) into the hardware. ,with added support for higher video recording resolutions
*Bigger stereo speakers.
*All other ideas made by seki are inclusive/desired too..

all these lovely features are great - but i think they should sort out the low level stuff first - like...

Battery Life is top priority, so i hope nokia roll out a beefier battery to replace, just make it integrate into the cover to get that littloe bit of real estate
a real flash instead of these bright LED's. They dont do the job
since they have the use of carl zeiss now, they should take advantage of the optical zoom lens' which fit into very thin compartments, such as the Sony cybershot T5 I have with vario tessar len.
I think they answered most of my prayers hardware wise when they made this phone though. especially 3.5mm jack, I love it!
better lens cover/slider. Something more like the N73, which makes the back flush and flat, with good level of protection. I find the n95's shutter opens on its own in my pocket
Theres a few software things i'd like them to iron out too. Is there any way we can make a list of known issues which can be submitted to nokia (to someone who WILL read and do something about it)
