sharing pictures via home network function on the N(5

Hello

I am trying to share pictures via the home network function on the N95.

i managed to do it previously but am not sure why i cant do it now.

i have got a bunch of pictures in the n95 gallery.

connected a laptop to a local network. the laptop has got simple centre installed.

i turn on the wlan on the 95 by doing the following
tools --> home network --> share content (sharing on)

the settings of the router are stored from the previous time.

i go to gallery --> images and video --> {select the picture} --> options --> show via home network

but then i cant see any device in the select device category. can you tell me what am i doing wrong?
