Free push email on N95

Does anyone know where I can get free push email on Nokia N95 that will work with my gmail account?

Someone mentioned on another forum (N95users.net i think) as a response to push for N95 for another provider that push only worked with hotmail and gmail, but the forum is pretty much dead 😞

Anyone know how I can set this up, preferably for free?

Data costs = Not an issue

I was not aware that Hotmail and Gmail did push email, but i would be very surprised if they did.

Last time a checked, a few months ago, i could not find any free providers that did free push. Hotmail is crap and i dont use it, but looking at my Gmail setting i can't see any mention of it.

I would hope that it's coming soon, in fact i am sure it is as it a long over due evolution of email. I remember reading something about hotmail, but it was an extra paid for service.

EDIT: Just found this - http://blogs.msdn.com/mayurk/archive/2007/02/16/push-email-with-windows-live-hotmail-and-windows-mobile-6-0.aspx

Looks like Windows Mobile 6 users will get it first (if Symbian gets it at all). That really does not surprise me in the slightest.

How can I set up my N95 to check my gmail automaticcaly every few minutes then?

I cant figure out the settings...

don't think hotmail or gmail do push email...

but your n95 supports pop3 email and so does gmail.... (has the penny dropped yet :P)

you can set this up and then schedule your phone to download your email every x minutes
