Manually Backing Up Contacts to PC

is there a way to backup your "contacts" from the N95 to your PC and be able to edit it using the contact editor or excel or any other text editor ?

I know how to make a backup of my phone's internal memory using phone suite, but I cannot access the backed up file ?!?

I've added a new label "address" to one of my contacts, I'd like to copy it over to all of my contacts in one shot, is this possible ?

does it have to do with the "private" option in my contact list ? should I set it to "Public" ? thanks!

The easiest way is to use the PC Suite to sync your contacts with Outlook, then edit your contacts in there, then sync back again.
