What does it do the black nokia button when i am listening to it i press it but it doesnt pause i am just curious

Its the grey ones that came with the phone i dont have a manual my uncle gave me them and he has never used them before

The button is for switching stored radio stations (for the phones which are haveing radio) or to answer/end call. If you press it longer than 1 second, you can use voice dialing.

was also wondering on the fron of the 6680 top left hand there is a small plastic bit what is that for is it something to do with the daylight ?
