hi everyone
i have a nokia 5500, and I had some apps on the memory, then I made an update to the phone software to v 3.55 using nokia phone updater.
Everything was fine, i restored the backup from memory card, then there were some apps missing so I installed them again.
But when I open the phone, it says Installing....
and then says something like go to application manager to install software.
When I went there I found an app not installed with code: f000138a.sis instead of the name, when I try to install it doesen't it just opens the installer for a sec then closes again.
By figuring out what program is missing, it turned to be a photo editor that i had installed before, this program doesn't have a shortcut in my own or in the main menu, it just adds "edit" when I press options on any picture, now when I try to open an image it says: "Unable to execute file for security reasons"
Appareantly this program messed with system files and when it was not uninstalled correctly, it affected the images.
Also when i press options on any image some text is missing, (the edit button)
I need to know what is the name of the program so I can get it and install it again, or I know how to uninstall the program completely from the phone.
Its name was just "Photo Editor" in the application manager, what i know of it that it displayes an edit button in options then it displayes a rectangle, in it some small squares and every square has an effect.
Please someone, I need the name of this program and its download link (if possible)
OR how to remove this program completely.
If i am posting in the wrong forum please send me a link to symbian problems forum.
Thanks a lot
