So the application forces you to download the maps to your phones card either via phone or card reader but my question is are you forced to download a whole country or only cities selected? To me it simply wouldn't make much sense to have to pick the entire country if I know I'll be travelling to several different cities.
Nokia MapLoader by City or Country?
Far as I can see it's by country, I've downloaded Spain recently just because I will be visiting Barcelona soon!
Ok if anybody knows anybody at Nokia please ask if this can be broken down by City. It simply makes no sense for me to have all of USA if I never venture out of Chicago. For example. By all means leave the choice for country but allow a finer granularity than just Country.
America is done by state, I'm off to the US soon so I just added Massachusets and New York state as they're the only ones I need.
Too bad if only the USA is done by state. It could have been done for regions within countries in Europe. One obvious example would be the German states (L�nder).
IIRC the UK can be split up into England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I didn't look at any other countries, maybe they can be split up by "state".
