Hi all
On my N95 I don't seem to be getting the delivery reports for text messages. When I said a text it says "pending" and doesn't comfirm that it has delivered the message. I phoned o2 today to ask them and they told me its to do with the way I have set up the phone.
It is set up the same as my N80 so it can't be that as I get them on that. Could it be anything to do with the firmware:con? At the moment my N95 has got the following firmware;
V10.0.018
15-03-07
RM-159
Nokia N95 (66.01)
Has asnyone else had this problem?

There are a new firmware for N95, Download the Nokia Software Updater and update it (if update crashes, you won't loose Nokia guarantee)
Maybe you problem is solved after an update 😃
Tried the updater but it says there are no updates availible?

02 used to support this message delivery reports when it was BT cellnet through various phones own delivery reports settings, unfortunately its no longer supported and you have to do it a manual way for each text message. You have to do this to get delivery reports put *0# (star,zero,hash,space) before you write your text messages send and it will return a report and there is no charge.

To 0123456789 (or whatever your contact name is)
*0# Hi mate how are you wanna say hi this is just a test

Thats it hope it helps its a shame 02 dont suppor this setting on phones natively but that's the way it is.
incidentally, Orange started charging for delivery reports a few months back at around 1p a go.
F
