Opera is developing a solution for the Series 60 platform, which includes the recently introduced Small-Screen Rendering technology.
The browser will not be available for download and purchase for users of the Nokia 7650 due to the memory constraints on the device. Although the browser itself works inside the memory available, there is limited space available left for caching, other applications, and images. A poor user experience would therefore be the result for many people. If in the future Series 60 based devices are released with more and/or expandable memory we will reconsider this policy.
Opera also delivers the browser directly to handset manufacturers developing on the Series 60 platform and to operators that wish to provide more advanced functionality to their users.
