Probably a stupid question does anyone know if it's possible to assign a sound to the slide. e.g. when you slide it up and the phone unlocks it would make a sound?

I've looked everywhere on the phone and couldn't see it.

Is it my imagination or was there a sound event whenever the slide was opened? :con?I thought I heard one the day I unboxed my N95 and never again since then...anyone? Thanks

That's funny, that's what another friend said! He thought it was a case of wishful thinking on my part...but perhaps it was from models I saw early on, on YouTube at conventions, etc?? Maybe I'm just delusional!🙄

Also, I installed the keylock programme for the heck of it and the slider tones are silly!

There is a slider sound when you access the multimedia menu.... I've taken the option of switching the menu sounds off, but they keep switching themselves back on!! Any suggestions?

I got V 11.0.026, and changed to a generic Euro1 product code, but its still doing it...

Well, there you have it! I'm not crazy!😃 That's exactly what I thought and somehow that sound event stopped playing after the first day. Can you tell me where to find the controls to turn menu sounds off and on? Thanks.

Multimedia menu > Options > menu sounds > off.... If you can't find it, maybe its a change that happened with new firmware. Please let me know if you manage to make the sounds STAY off!

Darn! It must be only available in the new firmware update because I don't have "Options" in my Multimedia menu. I purchased mine from Nokia US (Let's Talk) directly and as of yesterday there's no available update for my phone yet.
Which doesn't explain what I heard the first day I unboxed and have yet to hear since!

Thanks for the info, though. If and when I update my firmware I'll see how to keep it off for you.
