This may be an obvious answer to this question . When I try to start web browsing through my wlan network I get a message saying "The page you are trying to access is only available via your orange phone when connected via the orange gprs network "
and I'm unable to get online , how do i get around this please

you to be browsing from within a specific IP range .. ie on their network.

I have a similar issue with my phone provider's services - I guess they expect to be able to charge you. 😉

hrm on re reading your post .. if you can't browse "nokia.com" etc then your access is limited by their firmware - I'd be looking to get that limitation removed - firmware update time.😃

Your homepage is just set to the Orange World homepage which can only be accessed via Orange WAP or Orange Internet.

Just press "Options > Navigation Options > Go to web address" and put a web address in there and it should take you wherever you want!

You might also want to change the homepage to something other than the Orange World page.
