Hello all,

I currently have a N73, and on my trip New York in the next few months I will be getting myself a brand new N95 from Nokia. (cheaper than the UK)

Anyway here is my question
From reading the reviews i noticed that there is a mini usb feature added to the phone.
What is this feature for? I.E can i plug one of those USB flash drives in and read files from it. (just thinking of more storage space, as my understanding is that the N95 will only support cards upto 2gb)

Oh and also is there such a thing as mini usb flash drives yet, all the research i have done simply shows a normal USB connection and not the mini version.

cheers all.

P.S. anyone from the states no where the best deal is for sim free N95????????

Marc

The mini USB port replaces the Nokia Pop Port that previous phones have, it's just for data transfer and synchronising.

Nope you can't plug a USB drive into the mini USB port I'm afraid, the N95 won't act as a host.

Not seen any mini USB drive's, don't see why anyone would want one, you'd have to whip out a mini USB to USB adapter each time you wanted to use it!

I'm in California, got my unlocked N95 for $700 (incl. taxes and shipping) on eBay. Not sure you could do much better at this time yet.
