firmware update question - T-mobile

3 replies · 1,821 views · Started 04 May 2007

i have just tried to update my n95 using the NSU and it says i have version 10.0.018 and that there is no update for my handset.

I have read on here that there is firmware versions higher than this though so how do i get to put it on my n95.

dont mind if i loose all the t-mobile stuff on there, just want the latest bug fixes.

Hi, I'm also with T-Mobile and sorted this out a few days ago, you need to downlad the Nemesis Service Suite software (NSS) (Google it) and then use it to change the product code of your phone (see the sticky thread above for the right code), this takes seconds, once this is done you can then use the Nokia Software Updater as normal and it will now recognise your phone and update.

thanks mate

did you notice any real changes?

is there still that strange click sound when you use the camera and does it save the images any quicker and focus quicker etc?

well, i have just done the update and it was really simple:icon14:

ok, so now my phone dosent have all the t-mobile stuff loaded on it right? like the web and walk shortcuts etc.

got to say that my first observations are that the gallery is a lot lot quicker to load up the images.

saving of images from the camera seems very slow though between shots.

video recording seems better though
