Wireless Browsing Lockups/Timeouts on N95 using Home Wireless

SOLVED! Thanks to emailzap for their reply

Hi

New N95 user. I have configured my N95 to use my home wireless to browse the internet.

The wireless is running with WPA security and I have wireless client security enabled, listing the MAC address of the N95 as an authorised client.

I found that regardless of the sites I visit, the initial page load is surprisingly quick but any subsequest page loads of the site by clicking on hyper links etc is slow (if it completes at all and doesn't lock up) and I am frequently getting

Web Connection Timeout!

Once this error is recieved navigating menus etc becomes very slow. The wireless connection is still active in the backgroud. To provide an example of whats slow pressing the 'Multimedia Key' it takes 20 seconds to load.

Phone Memory
Memory in use is 42MB
Free Memory is 106MB

An example of the web sites I am browsing is 'google'
- browse to google
- once the page loads click on the groups hyperlink.

I am running with the version 11 firmware on the N95.

I have checked the logs on the wireless router and the router is not dropping out.

Do I need to make additional configuration changes on the phone or router?

I am assuming that the phone should be able to handle this simple browsing test?

Help Appreciated,
G

Hi! Had a similar problem, just go to tool/setting/connection/wireless lan/option/advance/disable power saving.

hope this helps.
