Sorry for this really newbie question 😮ops: but.. can anyone inform me how to install jar file in P800?
I've tried to you the installation program from the PC Suite, the process showed that it installs very well, but...nothing showed in my P800 😞 .

Hi!
Just transfer the .jar file to your p800 and use the fileviewer application to "start" it. That'll install it for you.

Ooops 😮ops: sorry, forgot to login on above post.
I did it another way.
I started the Install Software program that came on the P800 CD.
Then I chose to show all files and selected the jar file and the program installed the software. That way the program came directly in the menu and I dont have to start the viewer to start it.

PersonalJava applications that have a text input field can take input from
the P800 full screen character recognition when they have the input focus (jot on the screen) or use the virtual keyboard. Also the Jog dial works in PersonalJava regarding the Up Down and Select actions at any time. All these input options appear as AWT keyboard events in PersonalJava.

i m doing final year project on j2me. i have nokia n70 phone. i want to run simple hello world program which i copy from different sources from internet. i have created the jar file and jad file. And jad file is running properly in nokia emulator but give an error during installation in n70. plz help me out. my project is "capturing video from nokia n70 and transfer it continuously to pc through bluetooth where it should be displayed and saved."
if u have any idea regarding this project then plz send me some suggestions and also how to ceate an executable jar file.and how to know my n70 specification and its supported JSR.
