N80 - Disable the flashlight when recording video

Hi,

I am using N80ie with firmware v 4.632.0.38
i am able to disable the flashlight on Image mode but not under video mode. Any setting or software can disable the flashlight while recording video? Please advise. Many thanks

no.. Im not aware of any way of doing this?

Why do you want to disable it anyway?

No, and by the way, do the firmware upgrade to the last firmware version.

I aware there is some 'bugs' with the current firmware 4.70++ so not intend to upgrade the buggy version until workable version available.

not exactly for stealth filming just wondering if can disable the flash (as the led will drawn additional power from battery)

IMHO theres more bugs in the other versions of f/w than this one!
