Yesterday I upgraded my firmware. I changed my code to Euro 1. My phone was the Hong Kong version. The installation went well, but the only thing that does not wok is the pairing with my Samsung wep 200 ear headset. I have succesfully transfer pics to my computer with bluetooth, but my n95 does not want to pair with my headset. Any ideas why?
It asked for the passcode, I did put in (0000). Then it says if it should connect automatically, i said yes. Then it asks that do ou want to connent?. I hit yes and it tries for a minute and then says, unable to connect. Why?
Please let me know if anyone has had the same problem.
Any solutions.
Thanks in advance.

Did you perform a Backup and Restore (using PC Suite or the Memory Card tool?) before and after the flash procedure? If so, this is not advisable when changing FW versions or de-branding.

Try formatting the phone's internal memory with *#7370#

You will lose all contacts, calendar entries and installed apps, so use PS Suite to Synchronise beforehand.

Hi ppl

i deciedto play a bit around with my firmware update ad almost wish i shouldnt have.......... got a tmobile n95 since april 2007 and never done one a firmware update b4.....,

its a tmobile supplied one so i changed the product code to Euro01with nemesis as it so helpfully is described in the Guide.. and upgraded firmware fromv12 to v21............. changed the product code back to what it was and resync with the back up data............. at that point i wasnt aware that i should really not use the back up data again and do everything manually.....

so it all ended up like a bit too big a jump for my mobile as it wont acknowledge presence of the bluetooth headset it was paired with in the pre-firmware update era....... but be happy with finding other bluetooth sources around.......... i tried the *#7320# to restore the default factory settings... it restarted but have been a bit slower than it was before.......... the bigger problem now is that it wont find any other bluetooth source in the region... so its got worse basically..........

now i am gonna try to use the back up from pc suite and hope it reaches a state where it sees any bluetooth sources..... if that doesnt work then i think i'll change the product code to EURO01 and see if that makes any difference at all........

any help/tips/suggestions/advice would be really helpful

regards

NEVER restore a backup after a FW change, but it's OK to use PC Suite Synchronization

You should now either format the internal memory or perform a hard reset.
