How to jump to the first icon in the gridview of the menu?

Yeah, sounds little bit complicated...

Ok.

My app switches to the background. But I want to show the menu of my mobile phone with the cursor on the telephone icon (first icon - in the upper left corner!)

How can I implement that? I need the appID a.s.o., that might not be the problem, but how can I set the cursor on the upper left corner on that special icon?

And ideas...?

Thank you.

Is there a way to do this using the keyboard that will ensure that the cursor position end on the first entry, no matter what the starting position? E.g. on systems with a full keyboard, pressing home will normally achieve this.

If there is such a key combination, then you can send the keys from your app to the foreground app.
