N95 satnav question

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so please excuse me if i sound like a total NOOB!!

Basically i am using a N70 with Tomtom 5 atm with separate reciever and just ordered myself a nokia N95.

My question is will i be able to use the same tomtom software from the memory card out of my N70 for the N95?

At the moment the N70 works a treat but the built-in gps reciever made me buy the N95.

I understand the N95 has its own Gps maps but i find that Tomtom is the easiest to use and will save me downloading new maps ect.

Please let me know!

I dont think the N70 tomtom will work on the N95 because N70 is S60v2 and N95 is S60v3 and they are incompatible.

If you get a different tomtom software that will work but currently only with your Bluetooth GPS as the integrated GPS isnt supported by TomTom yet

As srw985 is saying; the TT5 software isn't compatible with S60 3rd. TT6 are but does not have support for built in GPS (only in Windows Mobile version).

There is a rumour that TomTom is currently working on a version that supports Nokia's devices with internal GPS. But it is only a rumour at the moment.
