How do you protect your N95? (cases, pouches etc)

What cases or pouches do you use when carrying it around?

Anyone successfully managed to put on a screen protector without getting bubbles underneath?

Don't like the hard transparent plastic case that comes with the mobilefun.co.uk accessory pack, some hard edges have to rub against the phone case before it snaps on - bound to cause scratches at some point, defeating the purpose.

I have the crystal clear hard case and I must say I am completely satisfied with it, no problems at all and for just 99p:icon14: what more can I say.

I go for the slightly more expensive "insurance" case. I had a crystal case for about 5 days and after it started cracking at the edges i thought "meh" and binned it. I know cases protect your phone but you can't deny they look pretty pants... My phone just feels so much nicer without a case. Might go for a screen protector however...

Tired a screen protector and it looked rubbish, very hard to get on without dist or bubbles.

Now just use a phone sock - does the job.

Heres another type of case which some of you may find to be suitable. Obviously it may look a little strange at work or down the pub....

I use my N95 outdoors a lot, I bought an Ortlieb 'Safe-it' from a local outdoor supplier, it is a clear waterproof cover made of a very tough rubbery plastic material. The phone goes inside, you can open the slide, operate the buttons, talk on the thing etc and it has a lanyard clip which you can attach it to rucksack straps etc. Brilliant and more-or-less totally waterproof thanks to the roll-over velcro top.

I ordered an invisible shield.

Bit expesive for a screen protector, but is put on with a liquid and a squigee. which will hopefully mean less bubbles!

I tried a crystal case, it cracked in no time.

I tried some sticking film protectors but ended up with bubbles.

At the weekend I bought an iPod Video protector from Currys (cos 5) and made a paper template of the N95 screen and cut out the shape from the protector. This stuck to the screen no problem with no bubbles at all and didn't require much care to avoid them. Looks good and does the job.

The protectors use a silicon rather than sticky adhesive and you have to peel off the back before sticking and front after sticking. Top tip would be to lift the corner of the front cover before sticking to the screen.
