Keeping the flip top open

I'm sure you all agree that the P800 looks better with the flip top removed, but do you think this would affect the screen on the long term?

For the first 10 days I used the P800 without the flip cause it looked cooler.. but then I found that locking/unlocking the phone was a pain. With the flip, I can have it so that if I want to unlock it, I just open it, and if I want to lock it, I just close it.

Easier than fumbling around with the end of your finger, that's for sure. I can't imagine using the phone without the flip now.

LOCKING/UNLOCKING
that's a very serious thing don't you say Link 😃 😃 😃

I agree that locking unlocking is a pain without the keypad.

It would be nice if a good programmer write a patch for mapping the "Browser" hardware button to either launch another program or doing a sequence of "keys" or functions. Since you need the pen out to browse the net you hardly never use the browse button anyway.

Unlock/lock would be accessible with keys like jog-ok, browser button😊

Cheers

Yeah, that would be perfect 😉

I have the flip keypad back on again. Actually it is much better this way, even if it doesn't look as cool 😊
