hi guys,

i know this has been covered already but just wondered what the most up to date deals were. due an upgrade (currently on O2) at the end of the month. absolutely do not want an 18th month contract, so anybody got any suggestions for tarrifs etc with the N95 on a 12 month contract. also have o2 done anything re data yet??

cheers

rich

Got my N95 on an O2 (high street store) 12 month contract.

The phone was £19.99, monthly contract is £35 per month. O2 threw in a 1gb memory card also.

The handset insurance wasn't forced upon me either ....

Cheers

The big problem with all 12 month contracts is that you will be charged 200 - 250 for the handset.

I managed to walk out of a Phones4U shop with a FREE N95 on an 18 month 40pm contract, plus 60 chequeback (received cheque today). I have not seen any deal that comes close to that either online or in Network Stores.
(I also paid 20 to Orange to get the handset unlocked so it works with any network SIM).

An alternative option is for you to buy SIM FREE and keep your current contract. The cost is 439 from a commercial vendor or 275 - 325 on eBay.

Hope this helps.

how many mins etc you getting on that deal.

im o2 not o2 cpwh. pretty sure i can get free phone with them on upgrade. its just whether or not to switch to t mob web and walk deal. i get 800mins and 2000 texts at the min for £45 a month

Hi,

I got mine from vodafone (new connection):

12 month contract
27 p.m. (200 mins 150 texts)
Handset was free

Rang them up directly, by far the best deal i found. Next cheapest was 40 per month (12 month, free phone).

Was with tmobile originally, and the best they could give was 50 p.m. and phone free

Wow! By far the best deal I have heard of so far, even better than my Phones4U Store deal.

Well done! :icon14:

Mark, how did you get such a good deal? O2 are advertising 90 for the handset on a 35 tariff ??

Richb1888 ...

300 x-net minutes, 250 texts per month, and O2 long weekends for 6 months.

nvanherpt ...

I think the weekend I bought it O2 retail (in my area anyway) were price-matching local CPW stores ... needless to say I snapped at their kind 'offer' 😊

Got my N95 FREE from Orange couple of weeks ago. They wanted £89.99 for it, but as soon as I told them i was going to leave (been with Orange for almost 10 years, averaging £60 per month) they immediately lifted all stops and gave me the phone for free on a 12 months contract, £25 per month, 150 any network any time calls, free calls to ONE other ORANGE number (3 hours a day, on top of my free 150 minutes, every six months I can add a new ORANGE number) and 50 texts a month.

They initially insisted on an 18 month contract. Just push them as much as you can...

cheers for the heads up nvanherpt

going to take my n95 back to phones 4 you on friday to hopefully get a better deal if not, ill order that one
