ok, i bought a ZT last month and its got a nokia car kit set up, with the mic on the roof and the charger cable leading into a cradle which also has a little connection on bottom of it to sit the phone in, so once the phones sitting in the cradle its being charged. this is my problem. the cradle that came with the car is a tiny slim one, i need one for the n95. the ones on ebay though are just generic cradles, they dont look like ones with connections on bottom so when my phones sitting in it its charging. also, i dont seem to see any connection on the bottom of the n95 to slide it into anyway!?
if its a nokia in car kit, the n95 must be able to be used, no?
id rather have this setup than using a bluetooth ear piece, i like the idea of using it the way its set up. can anyone help?

i may be wrong but i dont think there are any car kits out for the n95 or for any of the n series phones infact! poor really. other option would be to look at a blue tooth kit (not earpiece) by parrot. they work in a similar way to your cradle kit in that the sound comes through car stereo etc. and obvious advantage is you dont need a cradle for it to work. you dont even need to take phone out your pocket...... caller id displayed on the little module which is usually dash mounted. of course if you wanted to charge phone, you'd need to plug it in to cig lighter with a suitable charger.

if its bluetooth then how will it go through my speakers?
is that dependent on my stereo supporting it?
needs to be fitted. it is dependant on your stereo but to be totally honest nearly all car stereos have the connection on the back. most dealers will fit it for you or halfords could be worth a try. i dont have one but went to see one last month and think i will get it fitted to my golf at next service. vw quoted me about 200 quid for installation and the parrot 3100.

just a joke that my nokia fone cant be used withmy nokia car kit...
like i say, i am not 100% certain about that, but i have certainly heard rumours that there are none, and i have never seen one.
