I got an interview with Nokia next week in the big smoke about the N series Internet Study....
apparently Im going to get rewarded for going... wonder what it will be... 30... 50... or what I want... another phone!! HAHHA Anyone else going???
I see the time table has 8 other names on it!?
Anyone want me to throw anything Nokias way RE the use of web services, Internet etc
Are you talking about what?
Hes having a meeting with Nokia Phone study and he wants to know If we have any problems or questions that he can ask the people there.

I'm on the study, but didn't get an invite. I live in hope for the future though.
Best of luck with getting a phone out of them - you'd think it'd be a cheaper option for them than M&S vouchers.
Not sure it's relevant, but I'd love to know if they're going to build an N series phone with the screen size of the N800...

yeah, thats it
Rob,
yeah you would think it easier than the M&S vouchers... and more useful to me too! 😉 There was another study that they mailed me about after which said you'd get 30 cash... so by the fact they didnt say what they were going to give us for this interview, Im living in hope of something worthwhile! 😉
dhevans, the N800 is an n-series phone with the screen size of an N800! 😉

It's not a phone for me in that I can't sit and make GSM calls /send texts/get my work emails from my office. 😊
I like the idea of using it as a laptop sofa browser, but can't justify 279 (at the moment)..
Until free wifi becomes a little more widespread, or O2 bring down their 'all you can eat' data plan, it's not going to be much more than that for me?
I think I'm after a E series style phone but without the keyboard?
Diane

yeah, sorry Diane... I read the N800 as a complete phone rather than an 'add on that did wifi calls instead of GSM'
I was just being smart!!
You can slap my wrists if you want!
Sarcasm was noted... 😉
Seriously tho, would be intrigued to hear where they're going next hardware-wise, if that's relevant.

Never been one for relevance... so I'll ask anyway! HAHAHA
so, a rather interesting broken interview with someone from Finland...
recorded too in starbucks...
she didnt really give me much but I did get out of her that there was going to be a new N8x this year... which is looking at addressing the falls of the N80.
Worringly she said about the battery being bigger to make up for the crappy life at the moment...
but the 80 range seems to be To Be Contuined.
Interesting stuff and would agree with what I may or may not have heard.
