usb connection — Nokia N80 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

hi all,

just one quick question...
when i connect my phone to my comp using the usb cable, i have 4 choices:

-media player
-pc suite
-mass storage
-pictbridge

i know how to use them except for the media player,
i tried it with the music manager but it doesn't recognize it.

how does the media player work?
have searched for it here, nokia website, and in the manuals but nothing.

wow, i thought this thread has been forgotten.

anyway, alik106, i still haven't found out how to use the 'media player' option on usb connection. at first i thought it was for windows media player.

but i did find a driver to use the n80 with windows media player 10 via mass storage. it allows me to sync my songs into it like an ipod in itunes. not really the answer i was looking for but i was pretty satisfied with it.

just thought you might like to know.

let me know if you'd like the link to that driver.

You should really try to use the search function in this forum because most topics and problems have already been covered in detail.

you must have seen my other posts when people tell me to 'search' for it
like i said i have been, but you seem to have better luck than i do. i better look harder next time. and since this has been solved i see no point in prolonging it.
