what to do with Broken N93 ?

2 replies · 3,550 views · Started 10 May 2007

I've sadly broken the small delicate plastic piece at the base of the N93 , the part the lanyard and lens cap attach too ..
I've contacted Nokia and they say they don't sell replacement shells or Lens caps
they didn't / wouldn't tell me if this is a warrenty issue and something i can send to them for repair

anyone got any ideas what i should do ?
i'm pretty annoyed i spent $700 and all because of a tiny piece of plastic my beautiful phone looks like shit with a hole in the base

thanks

Only Nokia Service can take care of that. Go to another one, if the first is not so good representative.

they have been spectacularly useless on this issue
they've told me its not likely a warranted issue ,
and they wont replace the lens cap or the shell

I'm really annoyed , i was a nokia fanboy but this has pushed me over the tipping point i'm $1400 down ( i bought two of these phones )
and they are both flawed now because of poor design and testing from Nokia

my advice is Don't buy anything from NOKIA that has moving parts
