Using the N95 gps to have an atomic clock

Hello. i have read some papers and from what I understood was that the GPS data (with almanac and orbital information) can be used to have a simple yet powerful atomic clock.

Just imagine to have the exact time thanks to the internal gps of the N95. All you would need is the software and to switch on the gps for a couple of minutes every month.

This could work with any country! Any good programmers who could create this program. i sure it will be tough but not impossible.

No more need to adjust the clock now and then 😊

A lot of GPS Navigation software already does this - because they need the timesync to get their exactly location from the satellites. Works hand in hand.

I know that TT6 will sync the time on the WM05 platform as soon as you open the app according to the GPS information..

This is another one of those small things that the phone should support on its own, would make a big difference and it has the data anyway.

The N95, like most any current phone can also update the time and date from the network (see the date and time settings in the Settings app, or the settings in the Options menu of the Clock app).
