u meen use the headphone jack (3.5mm) and plug it into a hi-fi (RCA input), yes this is safe to do, u can use the cable u get with n95 (the vid/audio cable) but id recomend buying a 3.5 mm jack - twin RCA audio only cable coz the 1 in the box does video out also, then wen u plug it into the n95 select MUSIC STAND
you can also use the same cable to connect to a car stereo if you have the right inputs. works brilliant for gps also

What do you mean, change the AUX to a 3.5mm jack?
You dont need to change the AUX to anything, it's either already a 3.5mm jack or RCA.
So depending on what type of AUX you have, you either need;
