Crap music quality

Hi everyone, has anyone else noticed this problem:

I have a Nokia N95 which is only 10 days old on the Orange UK network. I put a music on the phones internal memory initially at WMA maximum quality and listened to the music through the devices stereo speakers, the quality on some somgs was good, however on others it was completly crap. I then used the suplied Nokia headphones in conjuntion with the remote control, only to find that all the songs hissed and had an amzingly poor sound quality, so I used a pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones and the quality was the same: crap.

I then cleared the phone of all pictures etc and uploaded Johnny Cash - Hurt onto the phone in WMA Lossless (32MB worth of song) and the sound quailty was the exact same as stated above.

I want to know if this is normal and if not should I take the phone back for a replacement?

Thanks,

Ryan.

I use AAC at 128kbps using either iTunes or the Nokia s/w. With the BT Stereo BH-500 and hifi headphones the sound quality is just fantastic (saved music on 1GB memory card). Yes if you connect directly to the line out there is some background noise - reduced now when I applied the latest firmware.

But the phone must accept WMA format (That capability appears in N95 features)

Let me see if there are more people with same problem, but you better take the N95 to a technical service for a replacement
