Guys....
If you haven't already, get this...
vimio.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Software
Select the N80 sis and it works straight away... Live Sky News!
The center button maximizes to full screen.
Left right does volume and up and down changes the channel...... As of now, I got CNN, the fashion channel and Sky News..
V.Cool and FREE! (I but an old PAYG mob number in)
Another victory for T moblie web and walk users!! LOL :icon14:
Neil
Is this any good as i lot of people seem not t be able to pick up any tv using it?
i have unlimited data plan, so would be able to make good use of it, if it works that is!
It's not worked for weeks now!
cheers for that, saves me instaling another program that doesn't do what it promises.
I've had the Vimio prog on various phones, N80, N80ie, N95 and now the N95 8GB. It worked OK'ish until about August and since then I haven;t been able to connect at all, either by 3G or, as I used to, WiFi. Just reinstalled it with the same result. In fact the prog is the same one that I downloaded earlier this year.
I agree, it has not worked for months. previously it worked Ok via my home wifi.
I actually removed it

It does work now!!!
Using it over WiFi.
Had the prog installed before and then it ceased to work last August.
Have just reinstalled from the link and it's working fine.
Only 3 channels at the moment, BBC World, Comedy and Music, but at least it's free! 😊
is this just using the streams from the websites.
if you go to sky news and login can't you just see sky news like that?
... Pukka application :icon14: I use it just for the TV guide as it is waaaaay better than the EPG on my Sky box as you are able to filter channels (via account on web site) to view on the phone just the ones you are subcribbed to and it will add reminders to your calendar :icon14::icon14:
Has the new version had the TV guide removed - the adding of shows to the calendar sounds very useful.

...erm....sorry gavinlew  ..I read the title to be Vizimo TV on N95, not Vimio TV on N95 :stupid:
(my mother said I would go blind doing that)
...this is what I thought floppydonkey meant http://beta.vizimo.com/about.jsp
thats cool downloaded and does what it says, better than sky by mobile too.
tried to install oth the N80 and N95 versions on my n95, but both just give me a message saying 'update error'
any ideas?
:con?

I had the same message when I tried to install it on my N95-1. However when I uninstalled a previous version that was already on the phone it installed 1st time.
The channels are not so good today, but will improve they say. New download site for Vimio TV, sweden.vimiotv.com
If I remember correctly, Vimio TV used to be based in Southern Ireland but now seems to have moved to Sweden.
I first uninstalled my original version, 1.01, of Live TV using the Application Manager.
I then downloaded the new version, 1.02, to my PC from here:-
http://sweden.vimiotv.com/
Then, to register, I sent a text to the number on the website and was promptly given a Username (basically my phone number) and PIN.
This allowed me to activate LiveTV over WiFi.
At the moment there are 3 channels all, I assume, in Swedish (although one is a music channel).
Unlike the original Live Tv I cannot get it fullscreen on my phone.
There are more channels available now like BBC World News and Al Jazeera. Client download at: http://www.vimiotv.com/downloads/Software.html
