Problem with Nemesis Service Suite

Hey,

ive been tryin to change my N95 product code and i keep gettin that:

Scan for product... Error!

or when i click the read button it says:
reading values... Error!

anyone have any ideas what to do?

Have you checked the connections with the N95 to the PC (has the PC picked up the N95 as connected)?

yeah i did, weird thing but after i restarted my pc it worked.

so if anyone else encouter that problem just try and restart your pc 😊

Can anyone help, i'm trying to debrand my N95 8GB but cannot find the nemesis suite anywhere. Everyewhere keeps telling me that it is not available. Can someone please help !

I've used the virtual USB but it keeps coming up with error, and something about loading drivers.

That screen flashed up on installation but it has never asked me to install new drivers. I'm a bit confused what to do next.

When i used NSS, i simply installed it, selected virtual usb drivers, clicked next, finished installation (screen to internet pops up bout installing drivers, just closed it), plugged phone in, (Nokia PC Suite has to be installed b4 u plug phone in), ran NSS and GSM Magic, changed product code, closed programs, then ran Nokia SOftware Updater and let it finish (did all this to debrand my phone BTW)

Thats all i can say.........

For anyone who has been having trouble getting Nemesis to accept that there is a phone attached to the end of the USB cable I would suggest foolowing the link i'm putting up as I had this problem, could not find the software then when I did it was an old version not capable of reading my phone. The newer version that you can now download has solved my problem.

Yeah I had the same problem NSS 10.38.9 will NOT work, the new NSS10.38.12 works fine. Also their website is up again.

faced the same problem but solved after reading this thread. thank u very much! just connect the phone to PC suite. the errors will stop.😉

I have the same problem, however, how do I solve it? I can't get an older version of the PC suite. I need to re-brand my phone... don't ask' it's a long history. I have an N95 with the latest firmware and the latest pc-suite.

Temporarily remove the Nokia PC Suite from your PC.

Change the product code as per this thread.

Update your firmware using the Nokia Software Updater as per this thread.

Then reinstall the latest Nokia PC Suite.

Hi,

Problem was that the phone info wasn't coming up when you hit the
scan button (or the read button).

The info on the net isn't very useful... and a lot of people
seem to be having the same problem.

In the end it turned out to be a problem with the device that was
chosen to connect the phone: The instructions clearly say to use the
Virtual USB Device (VUD) but after tryuing all the
other devices it turned out that the

Diamond Protection Device (DPD) was the one that worked.

After that the scan button and the read button worked as they were meant to.

Just enter your new product code and write it to the phone.

Wonder why nobody else seems to have worked it out?

My name is Boro, Belgrade, Serbia. I know solution for this problem : Open Nemesis and then SUDDENLY, QUICKLY, click on read, or scan. Dont wait to many sekund. Or, open Nemesis, and NOW CONECT USB WITH PHONE, AND NOW QUICKLY CLICK ON READ, OR SCAN. It works 100 %. I have spend to much time until I have found this solution. Greetings to all from Belgrade !!!!
