Issues with HS-20 Headset

Has anyone had issues with the controls when using the Nokia HS-20 Headset?

1) Voice command button works even if the keylock is enabled on the remote. 😡 😡 😡 So frustrating when clipping the remote to clothing etc, just can't help but press that sodding button by accident!

2) When music player is running in background or phone is locked, the remote will only function with volume, voice dial & pause. Music cannot be resumed unless the music player is the live application and the phone must be unlocked. Scenario being... you pause music for a moment to listen to something... then resume. But you can't so you have to take the phone out of your pocket, unlock it, bring the music player up and then press play... Hassle!!

It does seem a little odd that the above features work like this. Most other remotes I have seen work separately from the device i.e. have it's own controls and locking capabilities. I have my N80 in my pocket and to leave it unlocked is just asking for trouble. I also use it for the clock so I don't want the music app to be in the forefront all the time and I can see what's playing via Active Standby anyway.

Another bugbear I have is with the loudspeaker automatically activating when the pop-port of the headset is disconnected by accident. Perhaps these are all features of the Music Player and could be resolved by an alternative player. Any ideas on another Music Player software option or how to resolve the above with the built in player?

My N80 is fully up to date with the latest generic firmware - V 4.0707.0.7 - 28-03-2007 - RM-92 - Nokia N80 (01).

Thanks,
Jon.
