Hi Guys,
I've currently got a Panasonic X700 and i'm about to get the Nokia E65. Whats the best method to transfer all my contacts, Inbox, To Do's, Calander, Notepad, Applications etc?
If there is an application best to use please include a link.
Cheers

For your contacts, calendar data and todo's, simply synchronize your X700 with Outlook (or use iSync on a Mac). Then sync your E65 and you'll be all set up. You'll probably lose some data in the process such as your contacts groups or calendar categories.
For your notes, you might be able to sync them to Outlook as well (not too sure here). SMSs are probably a lost battle (altough I think that there is an app out there that allows to export and import SMSs but it'll need to be available for both your X700 and E65 to be of any use). But then, do you really need to transfer your SMSs.
You can't transfer application but none of the applications you've installed on your X700 would work on the E65 anyway as the E65 is running the latest version of S60 (S60 3rd edition) which is incompatible with applications developed for previous versions.
Hi Guys,
I'm getting very desperate now. I've d/led a trial of the Oxygen program but i'm having a bit of trouble with it. The X700 doesn't seem to be able to be picked up by oxygen via the USB.
I desperatly need all the info & data on the X700 but need to start using the E65. Please help in any way possibe.
Cheers
Michael
PS i'm going to try use X700's pc software to do a backup and c if i can load that backup onto the E65 with PcSync

Why don't you sync with Outlook as I advised you?

Unless the X700 uses Nokia's PC software, that will almost certainly not work. I wouldn't even waste my time trying.
Unfortunatly i don't have microsoft outlook setup as i use mozilla thunderbird.
Also the X700's sync seems to only sync contacts and calander, i need everything else??
Frankly you are asking for a lot. I don't think there are any phone's / applications that do all of what you are asking easily. If you really are desperate for all of them then you might end up forking out for a number of different solutions.
In general I'd assume other than your contacts and calendar you can't transfer much else easily. The rest you should be able to backup for safe keeping, but not put on your new phone. As for the apps you're better off reinstalling them from scratch anyway.
I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but I think thats as far as you are gonna get without doing a lot of work.

As I said, you won't be able to transfer your apps as even if you could, they wouldn't work on your new phone anyway. For notes and SMS, it's probably going to be difficult to transfer them but then it makes a good excuse to do some cleaning up and let all the useless SMS and notes you've accumulated over time behind.
For your contact and calendar entries, have you looked at whether you can sync with Outlook Express which is preinstalled on Windows? If you can't then can you use a friend's PC who has Outlook installed to do the transfer? (if he is using Outlook himself to manage his contacts, do the sync in a new windows account or Outlook profile to avoid messing up his contact list).
