Yes, I know that. This is why I say that the Nokia website and the Software Updater declare that 2.0618.07.10 is already the latest version, while other countries seem to have version 3 available.

I wish they would hurry up with it for my phone too, I'm stuck at 2.x and am really hoping to see improvements in 3.x around memory usage etc.. I'm REAAAAALLY hoping they actually release the FP1 Browser as a .sis file.. I'm feeling kinda abandoned by nokia with my E70 and it's lack of the love 😞

The version 3.xxx firmware is not for all the E-70 models, so that is want I understand. I want to know from those who have got 3.xxx what are the major improvements and are there new bugs created.
There are two major drawbacks that I face with version 2.xxx. One is the document editor where alphabets are displayed as boxes and the other is some issues with the RAM & WiFi. So I do appreciate if anyone could share the improvements of 3.xxx over 2.xxx

I entered my code and it says my phone is also current w/it's 2.xx firmware. Not sure why 3.xx would only be available for certain phones when all previous versions have been for the entire model line. It would be different if it was another small update but since it's 3.xx it has to have some major changes and I'm not sure why it's on an individual basis.

It's interesting you say that NSU doesn't let your vanilla device update. I have a Vodafone model that I bought without a sim; I was hoping that by changing the model code of my phone to a vanilla one that I might be able to upgrade. The list of models at that link all supposedly work but I'm not sure which ones are British (I'm going to do some research though) so that was why I was wondering if your phone really is vanilla; what is its model number?
